Delete your ONRAMP account
This page explains how to ask Onramp Payments, Inc. to delete your account for the ONRAMP FuelPay app, and the personal information connected to it. You do not need the app installed to make a request.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my ONRAMP account”, or call us toll free at (888) 835-4498.
- Include your full name, the email address or phone number on your account, and the name of the fleet you drive for, if any. If you can, send the email from the address on your account. Do not send a password, a full bank or card number, or an identity document.
- We confirm we received your request within 10 business days and may contact you to confirm your identity. We respond within 45 days of receiving your request, and tell you if we need more time and why. Our response explains what we deleted and anything we kept, and the reason.
Uninstalling the app or losing access to it does not delete your account or data.
If you drive for a fleet, the fleet manages your access to its account. We will let the fleet know that you asked us to delete your account, and your fleet can also remove you as a user.
What we delete
- Your app profile and sign-in details, including your name, email address, phone number, username, password and PIN.
- Device identifiers and push notification tokens.
- Location history collected from your device by the app.
- Rewards Program enrollment, points and the demographic information you gave us for it.
- Your app preferences, including notification settings.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records. Records of purchases made with the app are part of the fleet’s account and the merchant’s sales records. We keep them only as long as tax, accounting and other laws, payment network rules, our agreements and the period for disputing a purchase require, and then delete or de-identify them.
- Backups. Data held in our backups is deleted when each backup expires on its regular schedule.
- Fraud and security records. Information needed to prevent fraud or investigate a security incident is kept for as long as that need continues.
- Communication choices. A record of a text message opt-out is kept so that we keep honoring it.
- Legal requirements. We keep information the law requires us to keep, or that we need to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements, for the period that requirement lasts.
