We’re looking for a senior engineer with experience building algorithms and backend systems with for AI, ML, optimization, or recommendation engines.
We’re looking for someone excited to join a Series A startup and have immediate impact. We have product ideas that will help drivers, carriers, and merchants. We need help bringing those ideas to market.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement recommendation algorithm from the ground up, leveraging proprietary data and external partners
- Build AI-powered features for our existing payments platform and mobile application
- Develop robust backend services on GCP and Kubernetes
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers through design review and project supervision
- Design and build the systems that make you most productive
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience building and scaling data-intensive systems or AI/ML infrastructure
- Strong background in data science, machine learning, or optimization algorithms
- Experience delivering incremental value in a rapidly evolving environment. Comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements
- Proficiency with Go, Postgres, and scalable infrastructure (Kubernetes, GCP preferred)
- Experience working in early-stage startups
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, or Data Science
- Legally qualified to work in the US
